How to perform shoe care

1. Remove insoles and laces

Before cleaning the shoe, it is recommended to remove the laces so that the folds around the tongue can be properly cleaned. Remove the insoles and let them dry. The insoles can be hand washed with soapy water. Maximum water temperature 30ºC, do not dry on direct heat.

2. Clean the upper

Clean the upper with a soft brush or cloth in warm water. Shoes with a Gore-tex membrane can be rinsed inside the shoe.

3. Clean the soles

Remove rough dirt and stones from soles. Then clean the sole, including the rubber pad, with a brush and warm water.

4. Let the leather dry

Let the shoes dry freely. Please do not dry leather shoes in direct sunlight and high temperature. When drying, it is recommended to have a shoe tensioner inside the shoe, or newspaper will work well.

5. Impregnation

Suitable for dipping on shoes that are not yet dry. Velor Nubuck Care Spray or Nano Protect Spray is well prepared for all types of leather and textiles.

Spray at least three coats so that the product doesn't run off the surface of the skin and the individual coats don't dry out.

We recommend using the impregnation outdoors or in a well-ventilated room

6. Caring

After drying, you can nourish the leather with Velor Nubuck Care. Shake well before use and apply evenly to surface with a sponge. Let it dry well again. Then brush the leather surface with a rubber scrub brush.

We recommend using shoes within 24 hours of treatment.
